Taegeuk sam jang concerns actions applying the principle of RI. This symbol means fire and sun.
1 - Turn 90 left moving left foot walking stance and execute a left low section block. 2 - (a) Keeping left foot in place execute front kick with right leg. 2 - (b) Step down into right long stance and execute middle section punch with right fist. 2 - (c) Remain in the same stance and execute reverse punch with left fist. 3 - Turn 180 right stepping with right foot out into right waling stance and execute a right low section block. 4 - (a) Keeping right foot in place execute front kick with left leg. 4 - (b) Step down into left long stance and execute middle section punch with left fist. 4 - (c) Remain in the same stance and execute reverse punch with the right fist. 5 - Step 90 left moving left foot into left walking stance and execute a right inward knifehand strike neck height. 6 - Step forward with right foot into walking stance and execute a left inward knifehand strike neck height. 7 - Step 90 left moving left moving left foot out into left back stance and execute a left single middle 8 - Keeping right foot in place move left foot forward into left long stance and execute reverse punch with right fist. 9 - Turn 180 right stepping with right foot out into right back stance and execute aright single middle section 10 - Keeping left foot in place move right foot forward into right long stance and execute reverse punch 11 - Step 90 left moving left foot into left walking stance and execute a right stabbing block. 12 - Step forward with right foot into walking stance and execute a left stabbing block. 13 - Turn 270 left moving left foot into left walking stance and execute a left low section block. 14 - (a) Keeping left foot in place execute front kick with right leg. 14 - (b) Step down into right long stance and execute middle section punch with right fist. 14 - (c) Remain in the same stance and execute reverse punch with right fist. 15 - Turn 180 right stepping with right foot out into right walking stance and execute a right low section block. 16 - (a) Keeping right foot in place execute front kick with left leg. 16 - (b) Step down into left long stance and execute middle section punch with left fist. 16 - (c) Remain in the same stance and execute reverse punch with right fist. 17 - (a) Turn 90 left stepping with left foot into left walking stance and execute a left low section block. 17 - (b) Remain in the same stance and execute reverse punch with right fist. 18 - (a) Step forward moving right foot into right walking stance and execute a right low section block. 18 - (b) Remain in the same stance and execute a reverse punch with left fist. 19 - (a) Keeping right foot in place execute front kick with left leg. 19 - (b) Step down into left walking stance and execute a left low section block. 19 - (c) Remain in the same stance and execute reverse punch with right fist. 20 - (a) Keeping left foot in place execute front kick with right leg. 20 - (b) Step down into right walking stance and execute a right low section block. 20 - (c) Remain in the same stance and execute reverse punch with left fist - YELL JOONBI
