REVISED TIMETABLE

Please note that as from Monday the 18^th October 2004 there will no longer be separate beginner and senior classes, we will be running one single class for children and one single class for adults; You will now have the option of training three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

These changes have come about as a result of poor attendance at the beginners classes and will hopefully prove beneficial to all students and in particular beginners who will now have the benefit of having at least two qualified instructors in attendance at every lesson.

As you are all aware a warm up session is equally important whether you are a beginner or an advanced student and the whole class can benefit from the same warm up, however although we are now having one class to cater for all abilities, beginners need not worry about being left to struggle with more advanced techniques, as we will be regularly splitting the class into groups in order to ensure that you all receive the appropriate tuition.

ENTRY CAN BE GAINED TO PARKSIDE VIA THE REAR OF THE SCHOOL, WHICH CAN BE ACCESSED, FROM ALBERT ROAD, DRIVE STRAIGHT INTO THE PLAYGROUND AND THE MAIN HALL IS LOCATED UP THE METAL STAIRCASE; PARKING IN THE PLAYGROUND IS ALLOWED.

WE DO NOT HAVE KEYS TO THE NEW PREMISES AND THEREFORE I WOULD SUGGEST THAT CHILDREN ARRIVE NO EARLIER THAN 5:15 FOR TRAINING, ANY EARLIER WILL PROBABLY MEAN WAITING OUTSIDE.

Competition

Club Grading

Grand Master Chung Visit (8th Dan)

Congratulations to everyone who attended and graded on Wednesday 17th July.  In total 4 black belt dan gradings were undertaken, all were successful:

   Debbie Churchward    5th Dan        Debbie is now the highest ranked TKD Master in Devon & Cornwall.

   David Hassall         2nd Dan

    Jack Keily            2nd Dan

    Mark Slemmings      1st Dan 

A number of kup gradings were also undertaken and all were successful.

Tuesday & Thursday Training times change

Rob has lengthened the children's classes on Tuesdays & Thursdays from one hour to an hour and a quarter.  The adults beginners class now starts quarter of an hour later.  See training times for further details.
